White Station Middle School on soft lockdown after bomb threat

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — White Station Middle School is on soft lockdown after a bomb threat from a caller who made racially charged statements.

On August 28 at 10:10 a.m., police confirmed the lockdown, saying “officers are conducting an investigation.”

Police said what appeared to be an adult man with a British accent called the school three times around 7:30 a.m. The school secretary answered one of the calls, and the man made a racially charged statement, further stating he possessed 20 pipe bombs…
