LAMBERTVILLE, Mich — Douglas Road Elementary in the Bedford Public Schools district is prepared to start classes as scheduled next week after finding and addressing “a minor, non-toxic white mold growth,” according to the district’s superintendent.
The mold was a “surface-level growth” that staff found only in a few locations in the elementary school while preparing for students to return on Sept. 2, Superintendent Carl Shultz said in a letter posted to social media.
