The Iowa Board of Medicine has granted a permanent medical license to a physician whose clinical privileges were allegedly revoked by the Veterans Health Care System in 2023.
According to state records, Dr. Kumar Bobba of Clive, a cardiologist who has worked in central and eastern Iowa, had his clinical privileges suspended in April 2023 by the Veterans Health Care System, which is the network of medical facilities run by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
