On August 23, 2025, Sulphur Springs Police responded to a late-night crash on the 200 block of MLK Jr. Drive. Officers say a Ford F-150 had left the roadway, struck a brick wall, and sustained damage. Several occupants of the vehicle fled on foot, leaving the scene before police arrived.
However, 18-year-old Braydyn Seth Miller of Sulphur Springs chose to stay behind and cooperate with law enforcement. Officers reported that Miller admitted to drinking alcohol, and because he is under the legal drinking age of 21, he was charged with Minor in Consumption.
Miller was arrested without incident, secured in double-locked handcuffs, and transported to the Hopkins County Jail. Despite the charge, officers noted his decision to remain at the scene and cooperate — a responsible act when others chose to flee…
