MCCLAIN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Two Norman business owners have been forced to start over after their lawn equipment was stolen Sunday.
Carson Rector owns Red Oak Landscaping. His friend Hunter Austin owns Pine Co. Landscapes. The two young entrepreneurs shared a storage unit in McClain County off Interstate-35. When they pulled up to the unit Monday morning, they were surprised by what they found.“It was all gone,” said Rector.
Nearly $60,000 worth of supplies and equipment had been stolen.“It was on their mowers, weed eaters, blowers, edgers, rakes, shovels, all of it,” said Rector. “We had a bunch of air compressors, nail guns, too.”
