SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Public Schools will begin the school year on Tuesday, September 2, and with many schools already starting across the Inland Northwest, it’s important to practice driver safety around schools.
The Spokane Police Department (SPD) is reminding parents and others to slow down and pay attention when driving near schools.
