A female wrestler in Michigan is suing her school district and her former coach after she was injured practicing against boys in December.
According to the Lansing State Journal’s Susan Vela, the student is a 94-pound girl who says she was injured after being paired against a much larger boy in practice, where she was body-slammed three times.
The student filed the suit with her mother’s backing. It names the Okemos Public Schools and wrestling coach Clint Guess and demands a jury trial and monetary relief for damages, including expenses from medical procedures…
