Today, in news that you have to see to believe, a man has souped up his regular ole couch by turning it into a mobile living room.
While taking a post-dinner walk on Wednesday night with my girlfriend and our dog, I was caught off guard when I spotted three people riding in the aforementioned living room up Rose Street just off of UK’s campus. I had no choice but to stop and stare while they were waiting at a red light (because even couches must obey traffic laws). It wasn’t until they started to peel off that the surprise wore off and I whipped out my phone to catch it on video — I knew most wouldn’t understand it without proof.
It’s exactly what it sounds like, too. It’s a normal couch with a steering wheel in the middle that also serves as a side table. It’s equipped with lamps, a desk behind the couch to hold the lamps and a few plants, string lights, and a rather large table so you can kick back and relax. It even appears to have a rug for your feet, taking La-Z-Boy to a whole new level…
