After a search that lasted over eight hours, a Shaler student who ran off after his mother found a gun on his bed has been located.
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s office says the 16-year-old showed up around 4 p.m. at a home he is known to visit along Soose Road in Shaler.
He was taken into custody without incident…
