StandardAero expands Augusta facility to boost business aviation services

StandardAero has celebrated the grand opening of its newly expanded business aviation facility at Augusta Regional Airport in Georgia. The development marks a major milestone for the company, increasing its capacity to serve business aviation operators across North America and globally, while also bringing around 100 new skilled jobs to the region.

The project represents a significant 60% increase in the size of the Augusta site, adding 80,500 ft² of space dedicated to hangar facilities, an engine shop, advanced avionics, and improved customer amenities. The expansion takes the overall campus size to 210,000 ft². The investment strengthens StandardAero’s ability to provide Honeywell HTF7000 engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, where the company remains the sole independent provider licensed by the OEM for heavy overhauls. Additionally, the facility will now offer expanded airframe services for large cabin business jets, broadening its service portfolio.

Founded in 1974, the Augusta facility has built a reputation for comprehensive maintenance and repair support across a range of aircraft platforms, including Bombardier, Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker.
