Pipeline failure causes Horry County wastewater spill

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Officials said that on Thursday a wastewater spill occurred in Horry County.

Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority said that a pipeline failure on Highway 707, approximately 800 feet northwest of the intersection of Highway 707 and Enterprise Road in Socastee, caused the spill.
