Pittsburgh police arrested a man on charges including aggravated assault and criminal attempt after they said he stabbed another man Thursday morning at a bus stop on the North Side, leaving him in critical condition.
Dispatchers said first responders were called to the area of Cedar Avenue and Pressley Street just after 6 a.m. on Thursday. One man was taken to the hospital after the stabbing, and according to Pittsburgh Public Safety, he is in critical condition.
Police said when first responders arrived, they found the victim at the bus stop, stabbed in the back. EMS crews transported him to the hospital, and officers started to search for the man they believed was responsible after he ran away.
According to the criminal complaint, by using their drones, police eventually located the suspect, 46-year-old Brian Kellum, at a homeless encampment near the 16th Street Bridge, where they saw him changing his shoes…
