AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Thursday, the Austin Police Department identified the victim killed in an Aug. 26 crash in the 10000 block of the South I-35 service road.
The victim was identified as 22-year-old Nikolus Andrew Diaz Valdez, according to the press release.

APD said the incident is being investigated as Austin’s 68th fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 72 fatalities.
