FAA to initiate new bid process for Anchorage airport control tower

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An FAA spokesperson says the FAA will be initiating a new bid process for the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport air traffic control tower.

This statement comes after HigherGov released a statement saying the project was cancelled on Aug. 20.

Should it be completed, the tower will be about 300 feet tall, making it twice as high as the current tower and the tallest building in Anchorage…
