COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – The Columbus Police Department has reported that a person has died following a shooting near Shirley B. Winston Park.
Officers arrived at the park at the 5000 block of Stream Mill Road in reference to a shooting.
CPD confirmed with WRBL News 3 that one person is dead at the scene.
There was a large police presence spotted at the Patriot Place Apartments on Friday, as police say the two incidents were possibly connected.
