Alleged intoxicated man threatens EPD, calls dispatch to threaten more

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man is facing charges after allegedly threatening officers and calling dispatch to threaten them more while intoxicated.

According to an affidavit, Evansville Police officers were called Thursday to a family dispute in the 1600 block of N. Roosevelt Drive. A man, later identified as Dylan Woodruff, reportedly began to yell at officers in a belligerent manner. EPD says Woodruff was slurring his words and had poor balance.

Woodruff reportedly refused to speak with the officers or provide information and was warned he would be charged if the noise continued…
