CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston police released body-worn camera footage showing the moment when officers confronted the man who attacked a pregnant woman and her son with a hammer last weekend.
On Aug. 23, Allison King and her son Zach were leaving their Dyer Avenue apartment to go celebrate the birthday of another family member when they were attacked. Both were brought to the hospital.
A witness on scene told police they saw the suspect walk away with a hammer in his hand and enter one of the apartment buildings.
