Man arrested on gun charges in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — A man was arrested Thursday night in connection with a shots fired incident in Fall River.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire near King Philip Street on July 22.

Police said surveillance footage showed a shirtless man leaving an SUV at the same time the shot was heard. A shell casing was later recovered at the intersection of King Philip and Tripp streets.

Darien Bradley, 36, was identified as the suspect and arrested on the following charges:

  • Carrying a firearm without a license
  • Carrying a loaded firearm without a license
  • Discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a residential building

No injuries were reported, but police said the investigation “represents the Fall River Police Department’s unwavering commitment to holding accountable those who endanger the safety of our community.”…
