Driver in fatal Rochester hit-and-run had 4 prior DWIs

A man accused of killing a beloved Rochester security guard in a June hit-and-run had four prior DWI arrests, prosecutors said, according to WHAM.

Leonel Yas Pena, 34, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to vehicular manslaughter and related charges in the death of 70-year-old Henry Brown. Brown was struck crossing South Union Street after work. Pena allegedly drank 12 alcoholic beverages before hitting him, then fled the scene.
