Residents voice safety concerns over lengthy streetlight outages in College Area

SAN DIEGO — People who live on Rockford Drive near San Diego State University are expressing concerns over safety due to broken streetlights.

“It is black, it is dark and it’s not safe for students, it’s not safe for anybody on these streets cause you can’t see anything,” said Jim Jennings, a long-time resident of the area.
