The Spring Lake Water Bark, a fundraiser that allows dogs to enjoy the Spring Lake Swimming Lagoon (393 Violetti Road, Santa Rosa), will take place September 6-7, 14, 21-22, and 27-28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pups and their families flock to Spring Lake from across the Bay Area every September for Water Bark, where dogs can cool off, swim, and play off-leash in and around the swimming lagoon, which is safely enclosed. As an added precaution, the lagoon water is filtered, chlorinated, and closely monitored by Regional Parks staff to ensure it is safe for dogs (Spring Lake is not treated). Please note that the Water Bark event will not take place on Saturday, September 13, due to a cross-country race at the park that day.
Water Bark attendees can take advantage of discounts by purchasing a Water Bark Season Pass online for $50, which allows one dog to enjoy all seven Water Bark dates for one low price. Advance single-day tickets also are available online at $8 per dog for Regional Parks members and $12 per dog for non-members. Advance purchases help reduce wait time at the gate, and advance purchase discounts end September 5, the day before the Water Bark commences. https://www.sonomacountyparksfoundation.org/water-bark.html…
