The Storm Prediction Center confirmed that a small landspout touched down briefly in Little Elm at approximately 4:35 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28.
According to Meteorologist Chris Nunley, the landspout touched down in an empty lot near Providence Village and Little Elm. The landspout was spawned by a severe thunderstorm that started northwest of the DFW metroplex.
