Fort Collins Fire Displaces 82 People from Local Homeless Shelter

A weekend fire in Fort Collins has left more than eighty people without a place to stay.

Poudre Fire Authority Responds to Fort Collins Rescue Mission Fire

On Saturday, August 23rd first responders from the Poudre Fire Authority were sent out to a scene near Jefferson and Linden streets, according to a report from Denver 7.

At approximately 7:16 PM they arrived at the Fort Collins Rescue Mission.

Fire Quickly Extinguished, No Injuries Reported

First responders were able to put out the fire quickly, saving the hundred people seeking shelter there at the time. Luckily, none of these residents were injured.

The City of Fort Collins Office of Emergency Management assisted in helping the displaced residents in the best way that they could.
