Early yesterday, a collision involving a suspected drunk driver and a police vehicle left two Phoenix officers injured. The incident, which occurred near 19th and Dunlap avenues around 4:20 a.m., involved a pickup truck that collided with the patrol vehicle, both sources, FOX 10 Phoenix and KTAR News, reported.
The officers were identified as being in uniform and inside their marked car when struck by the truck. Following the crash, the police officers were taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
