Anchorage School District changing protocol to keep students safe in school

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage School District has changed the protocol it uses to keep kids safe in emergency situations that can range from natural disasters to an active shooter.

The ALICE protocol, which the district implemented in the 2016-2017 school year, has been replaced by SRP, which stands for Standard Response Protocol.
