What began as a plan by three Charlotte students to organize a demonstration evolved into a group of 14 advocates gathered outside the CHHS/COED building on Friday morning to “Stand Up for Democracy.”
The protest touched on many topics, including the treatment of immigrants by ICE, the ongoing genocide in Gaza and speaking against the current administration.
