Detroit Drug Raid Nets Four Arrests, Seizes Ghost Guns and Narcotics Near School

Following a targeted operation by the Detroit Police Narcotics Unit, an Aug. 20 drug raid in Detroit’s Mapleridge Street neighborhood yielded four arrests, as well as a cache of drugs and firearms, some of which were found to be untraceable “ghost guns.” FOX 2 Detroit reported that the warrant execution took place within proximity to an elementary-middle school.

Police officers managed to quickly seize a variety of narcotics, including 51.6 grams of cocaine, 12.3 grams of fentanyl, 1.2 grams of heroin, 5 grams of methamphetamine, and 14 unspecified pills. The apprehension also included eight firearms and $811 in cash.
