On Our Radar: Pothole patrol? Savannah to ramp up pothole repair; mayor pledges participation

Savannahians may see their mayor in city streets repairing a pothole before year’s end. The city has launched a new initiative to increase consistency and response time to those disdained roadway imperfections.

This installment of On Our Radar will detail the new initiative and Mayor Van Johnson’s pledge to participate. Also, the long-awaited Hotel Development Overlay expansion made its first appearance at the Chatham County-Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission Tuesday as a discussion item.
