BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A Birmingham man who was found shot near a Central Pratt residence Friday night died.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, officers were dispatched around 10 p.m. to a person shot call in the 900 block of Sixth Lane. At the scene, officers found Robert Mitchell, 41, lying in the grass. He had been shot.
The BPD stated officers performed life-saving measures before Mitchell was taken to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
