Neenah Joint School District will offer a virtual option for school beginning this school year, in a consortium partnership with Kiel eSchool and Between the Lakes Virtual Academy.
“We’re excited to offer (virtual learning) in such a short time,” said NJSD assistant district administrator Jackie Muñoz-Ellmann, adding that “diverse learners” sometimes need the flexibility a virtual school can offer.
The Neenah School Board approved the virtual learning option this summer, resulting in a tight timeline to roll out its implementation, Muñoz-Ellmann said. Still, Neenah students enrolled with virtual learning, about 25 total, are set to begin the school year Sept. 2…
