Preview of Orton Park Festival as it Marks 60 Years

Jordy Loeb from the Marquette Neighborhood Association joins the Friday 8 O’Clock Buzz to preview the 60th annual Orton Park Festival, Madison’s longest-running neighborhood celebration.

Loeb reflects on what makes Orton unique: a grassroots community spirit that blends music, performance, and family-friendly events with a mission to support the neighborhood. Over the years, Orton Park has become famous for its traditions — the dazzling aerial acrobatics of Cycropia, the Sunday morning Jazz Brunch, and an auction that draws crowds. Volunteers, many of them longtime neighbors, make it all possible.
