New mural brightens Kenmore Library with community symbols and color

KENMORE, N.Y. — Visitors and people passing by the Town of Tonawanda Public Library’s Kenmore branch on Delaware Road are seeing a new splash of color as a mural takes shape on the building’s exterior.

The artwork — designed by muralist Molly Reagan — incorporates symbols representing Tonawanda and Kenmore while also highlighting music, books, and the arts.

“I think it highlights all of the things that the library has to offer,” Reagan said. “Murals like this, colorful pieces of public art, really help to draw people in, and they create a sense of place for people in the neighborhood.”…
