Ocean outfall project aims to improve water flooding in Grand-Strand

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Crews officially started the drainage process for another ocean outfall with the help of divers and a massive crane.

The main goal with of the 18th Avenue North ocean outfall project is improving water quality and reducing inland flooding by moving stormwater discharge pipes 1,200 feet offshore.
