(KRON) – Police find robbery suspects with the assistance of a license plate reader, according to the Benicia Police Department.
Around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, an employee of a business contacted Benicia PD and informed officers that they had been robbed by four people. Responding officers were made aware that the suspects stole jewelry and a phone from the victim, which was valued at more than $6,500, police said.
The Automated License Plate Reader system assisted officers in finding the suspects.
