Criminals took to the rail yard in Chicago, taking what they could from railcars and putting them into an SUV. By the time more police officers arrived, the criminals tried to flee in different vehicles. They hit a deputy and sped off as multiple shots were fired.

The Chicago Police Department has been investigating burglaries at a rail yard. A few officers happened to be there when a group of thieves arrived on Wednesday morning.
They could be seen removing items from rail cars and placing them in an SUV. As officers approached the scene, one suspect got in the SUV and purposely struck an officer.
