Frisco Road … a smooth ride now

Canadian County District 3 crews put the finishing touches on the Frisco Road project this week by installing new guardrails.

The city/county border road in southwest Yukon reopened several weeks ago after being paved with a new, 24-foot-wide asphalt surface between N.W. 10th and N.W. 23rd south of Interstate 40.

This 0.821-mile section of Frisco Road previously had patched-up potholes, large bumps and wide cracks. It had become downright dangerous – and nearly impassable – before District 3 County Commissioner Tracey Rider’s team started work this spring…
