Former Badger lights it up for the Sooners with a 2 touchdown day

Keontez Lewis had a career day in his Oklahoma debut. The former Badger was named a starter earlier this week in a somewhat of a surprise move, but he showed why in the game against Illinois State. He was Oklahoma’s leading receiver with a huge two-touchdown day.

In one game, Lewis had nearly half his total in his two years in Wisconsin. He hauled in nine receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns. During his whole tenure in Madison, he had a total of 21 receptions. It looks like he found his groove in Norman, and it’s good news for an incredible athlete who just couldn’t quite put it all together in Wisconsin.
