Georgia didn’t need to do anything elaborate to take down the Marshall Thundering Herd. And they never set out to. Instead they did the bare basics reasonably well, and it was all Bulldog fans could have dreamed of.
The Bulldog offense churned out 488 yards of offense, which was a welcome development. Even more titillating was the balance of 249 yards through the air and 239 yards on the ground.
