Authorities say a Massachusetts woman let her emotions get the best of her during an eviction that had already been dragging on for years. What started as a heated standoff quickly spiraled into something far more dangerous. Something that ultimately leaving deputies, bystanders, and even nearby residents shaken.
The suspect, identified as 57-year-old Massachusetts resident Rorie Susan Woods, has now been arrested nearly 800 miles away from where the incident first went down. After multiple court delays and a shocking no-show at her scheduled trial, she was finally tracked to a Tennessee hotel and taken into custody. But the bizarre details of her original outburst are what have people talking.
Back in October 2022, deputies say Woods showed up to an eviction in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, with a trailer in tow. But instead of shouting, waving signs, or even staging a sit-in protest, she allegedly took things to an entirely new, and dangerous level according to Law & Crime.
