Popular TV personality ends 6-year tenure at Houston station

Yet another popular broadcast news personality has announced the end of their time at a local station. KPRC 2 sports anchor and reporter Ari Alexander revealed on the 10 p.m. news broadcast Saturday night that he was ending his six-year run at KPRC.

“Tonight is my last sportscast here at KPRC2,” Alexander said. “It’s been a great six years in Houston.”

A seven-time Emmy award winner, Alexander continued Saturday by acknowledging the highs of the job and the stories he’s been able to tell along the way, including the 2022 Astros world championship and the Texans’ 2019  trip to London to face the Jacksonville Jaguars…
