MIDDLETON, Wis. — A portion of Century Avenue in Middleton will be closed until Wednesday due to a water main break.
Middleton Public Works (MPW) said the affected areas are between Tomahawk Trail and Baskerville Avenue. Crews are currently on-site and are working to shift traffic in the area, and the area will remain closed to allow for repairs and asphalt work.
The city said the cause of the main break was a combination of older infrastructure and corrosive soils in the area. Traffic is being shifted from the southbound lanes to the northbound lanes with one lane open, in each direction…
