Blue and green ribbons have been tied to street poles, signs and trees in what organizers are calling an “Avenue of Angels” for the victims of the Annunciation Catholic Church shooting in Minneapolis.
Sarah Henning, who helped organize the idea, says more than 600 volunteers helped place more than 5,000 ribbons along the streets leading to the church located at 509 West 54th Street, where students who were gathered for morning Mass on August 27 were ambushed by a gunman.
