SEDGWICK COUNTY —A teen murder suspect, captured on June 17, after hiding from police for weeks retuned to court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.
Judge Tyler Roush rejected a motion from Watt’s attorney to dismiss the case, because the fatal shooting was in self defense, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office. The Judge scheduled Watts for an arraignment hearing on September 11.
