A Non-Profit Cafe in Fort Collins Got Its Start While Having a Couple of Beers

2025 Grant Funding Cuts Cut Deep for FoCo Cafe
With grant funding cuts that have been felt across the nation in 2025, FoCo Cafe’s funding was slashed by 70%. That means the cafe has a $77,000 shortfall for 2025, with demand for what the cafe does having seen a 5X increase from 2022-2024. That spells trouble for cafe and those that need it.
FoCo Cafe, in Downtown Fort Collins at on Maple east of Mason, is currently reaching out to the Northern Colorado community for help. They’re looking to raise not only the $77,000 their short for 2025, but an additional $23,000 to have secure footing heading into 2026.
