HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville community kicked off Labor Day weekend downtown, with live music, dancing, and food. During the first ever Hoptown at Night event, Soul N the Pocket and DJ Prep supplied lively hits on a cool summer evening.

Hopkinsville Mayor J.R. Knight was in attendance during the event, telling Christian County Now that he and Councilmember Vance Smith worked closely together to make this event happen. He said the goal is to provide more entertainment and events for the community throughout the year, with the hopes of hosting more Hoptown at Night events in the future.
