1 injured in shooting on the northwest side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A male was injured outside of a liquor store on the northwest side of Indy.

On Sunday, at approximately 1:01 a.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a person shot call. IMPD arrived at the 2800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, where they located a victim on the sidewalk outside of a liquor store.

The individual was found with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound, to which officers called for emergency medical services to assist. The victim was then transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition…
