A tragic incident unfolded at The Resort at Governor’s Crossing in Sevierville, Tennessee, where an on-duty lifeguard was found unresponsive in the indoor pool.
Sevierville Police Department, Sevierville Fire Department, and Sevier County Ambulance Service personnel swiftly responded to an emergency call made on Thursday, August 28, at around 12:24 p.m., according to the City of Sevierville’s official report.
