The White Settlement Police Department announced the death of their retired Police Chief Larry Hesser, who passed away after a battle with ALS last Thursday, August 28th. According to a statement made by the White Settlement Police Department, Chief Hesser was renowned for his contributions to law enforcement during his expansive career that lasted more than 54 years, including 29 years as a police chief in various states, including Texas, Georgia, Colorado, and North Carolina.
