Sun Prairie woman reaches plea deal in Wausau meth case; co-defendant serving prison term

WAUSAU – A Sun Prairie woman arrested in Wausau last year after police discovered more than 100 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop has reached a plea agreement in Marathon County Circuit Court.

Cynthia Mack, 42, appeared in court in August and pleaded no contest to several charges across multiple cases. Mack was originally charged with possessing more than 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, along with additional counts, after the March 2024 arrest that also involved Cody L. Brossow, 37, of Waupaca. Police said two children were inside the vehicle at the time of the stop.

As part of the agreement, Judge Mike Moran dismissed the most serious drug charges against Mack. Court records show she entered no contest pleas to possessing drug paraphernalia as a party to a crime, felony bail jumping, and child neglect in the 2024 Marathon County case.
