According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, rain chances remain low to medium Tuesday and Wednesday before peaking Thursday at up to 80%. Thunderstorms could bring localized flooding on roadways, especially in low-lying areas, while commuters on I-40 and I-65 may encounter slower travel in heavy downpours.
Temperatures will stay cooler than normal, holding in the mid-70s to mid-80s most afternoons.
